Tangs in Lung Yeuk Tau was a family branch of Tang lineage in Kam Tin. The 2nd generation ancestor Tang Wai-gap married the Sung Princess and had four sons namely Lam, Gei, Wai and Tsz. The eldest son Lam had a son called Yim-lung. Yim-lung had a son called Chiu-ngan while Chiu-ngan’s son, Kwai-sau, alias Chung-ling, moved to Lung Yeuk Tau and became the founding ancestor in Lung Yeuk Tau.   

San Uk Tsuen is one of the Five Wai (walled villages) and Six Tsuen (villages) in Lung Yeuk Tau.
